2024 Lifan KPMini S

Apparently, the newest KP Mini will have fuel-injection and is certified under the EPA as '50 State' certified. However, I have not looked up California CARB certification, but being certified as '50 State' looks good for Californians. The model name on its certification is 'KPMini S' so may or may not be different from the SS3 version which was an update to the original KPMini 150 we started out with.

With CARB certification and fuel injection--maybe?? I would venture $750 off of your guess for $2750 is my guess for the bike at Venom considering they charge $2300 for the SS3. However, that includes shipping since their $2300 SS3 price includes shipping.

I like the slick(er) look. Of course the tires are computer renderings (maybe the entire bike is) but it does show what it would look like with slicks. Before the Mini was introduced to the world, there was a photo shoot at a race track in China with journalists riding racing prepped KP Minis sans lighting. I had always thought American Lifan should promote a one-make racing series in the US, at least regionally. There is or was one of the race-prepped bikes at American Lifan's headquarters in the L.A. area that I had seen on a video, so I am guessing they considered it. I do know there is a mini-bike racing series in Southern California, and their final race is a 24 hour grand finale held at a go-kart track. Motorcyclist.com race prepped a Binelli 135 a few years back that survived the ordeal. I think with Lifan not being CARB certified, it limited itself before, but now that it is CARB approved, I think they should push their bike for the series.

The main reason I think it's 3k plus is because for 2300 you can already buy a grom killer, and now that it's going efi they can mark it up higher and still save money from a grom

The 'fancy' minis by Benelli, QJ motor, and CF Moto all have an MSRP of $3k (I know I am missing a couple others), so I can see the Lifan being in that MSRP. If the fuel injection improves anything powerwise, I could see them moving a lot of them. Yeah, maybe even MSRP of $3.5k, although it would still be a tougher sell to convince many people to buy one over a Grom for around the same price point.

I can't see it costing more than the KPX. If anything it will be less than the KPX 250.
