Question Regarding Lifan KPM 200
Has anyone ever removed the KPM 200 gauge cluster from its location on the gas tank? I'd like to know what sort of mounting brackets are built into the gas tank, and if that stuff could be "cleaned up" if someone wanted to re-locate it.
(If there is one consistent complaint that I read about the KPM 200 is it's gauge cluster mount and the difficulty in reading it due to glare. You would think that Lifan would correct this.) |

You'll need a ton of bondo because the original location has a recess and bracket for the speedo. There's a guy on Facebook who did that recently in the "KP Master / KPM200 Riders" group on FB but I think most will leave the original in place like below.
