And then there were Three-Venom Ghost 250

So i pulled the trigger last week and have a New 2020 Venom Ghost coming. It shipped out late Friday. I spent most of the day Saturday cleaning out my shed to make room for the new arrival. I didn't realized how much junk I've collected over the years. lol I got to ride the X22R for a little while on Sunday but it was still too windy to take it out on the highway. Wind from hurricane Delta have been blowing pretty hard even after it pasted. Nice and calm today so took the X22R to work even with the heavy fog. I got the girls cleaned so they can meet there new friend. lol It's Thanksgiving in Canada so my tracking number hasn't been updated so I'm not sure of the exact delivery date yet.

Thanks guys. I already have a windshield ordered for the winter time. We have very mild winters so pretty much ride year round. I'll probably throw some saddle bags on too.

Nice! I know you have already sorted out that engine, so am interested to see what you can get this bike to do considering it is a standard/cruiser vs. a sportsbike.

I'll take my time with this one and do basic mods at first like sprocket change, carb tuning and decatting the exhaust. I'll let it break in and see what gains I can get then I'll get into the more aggressive engine mods.

I do not envision you wringing out all the power gains you did on the X22R, but there are those boring weekends...

I'm 62 as well. The X22R is a very comfortable bike. The riding position is more upright than some of the crotch rockets I have ridden. Way more comfortable than my Hawk for sure.

These are the saddle bags I'm looking at. Should look good. My only concern will be the turn signals being in the way. Once i have the bike here I'll get it figured out. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-H...a/282923187683
