2006 Zongshen GS250

The Zong's got no compression. I should have checked that first before dumping $200 in parts and a lot of time into it.

I can easily hold my thumb over the spark plug hole while cranking the motor. Adding some oil to the cylinder did not help so I think it's the valves. They are adjusted so that's not it either.

I have $400 into it. Anyone wany a $200 project bike? Maybe Spud can get you a new motor inexpensively and you'd have a like new bike.

As for me, I'm done with it.

If bones33 takes the wheels etc, I'd be interested in the engine and electrical components.

there was a guy at the shop i bought mine at who was telling me that he put a yamaha head on one a bike like yours but he didnt say what it came off of exactly. i believe he told be the original cracked maybe that is your problem too.

Thinking right now the yamaha sr250. I believe the exhaust may be on the correct side.
