For those of you who have bikes that use the standard 1157 tail/brake light that are looking to upgrade to the brighter LED I saw these while I was in Walmart. A twin pack for $14.96.

The one that I have I got somewhere else and is red and it works great. It is much brighter than the stock bulb. I shared these because I just happened to see them. I already had mine as I had bought one for my Kz 1000 a couple of years ago and it was $18.95 plus $6.95 shipping. If only Walmart would've had these back then....lol.

Not bad for a bulb you'll never have to change again. Not many bikes or asses can survive 50,000 hrs in the saddle!

Everyone says that,, but I can tell you that these do fail.

cooling is the key to longevity with high powered led's.

Ive had several COB style LED spot lights burn out, as well as the little 3 watt ones.

True but everything fails & LED's fail a lot less often then other lights. As an electrician I have repaired and installed many lights. LED's are a lot more reliable then any other type of light, some handle heat extremely well, its all in the design.

I just purchased a pair for the 12 sorrento. I have gone thru, including the original pair, 3 pairs of incandescent bulbs. I live on a 2 mile dirt driveway. Hope this takes care of the issue
