I agree with you completely. It's also a matter of lean angle, and Goldwings are somewhat limited. Especially the later 1200's and the 6 cylinder bikes. I had my 1000 setup a bit taller than stock with longer rear shocks and heavier springs and valves. It could lean over fairly well for a standard bike with a flat 4, but I could still scrape both pegs with ease even when I rode it like a canyon carver.

Plus, that is the main reason I love to ride. I love leaning into the corners, hence why I don't bother with the darker side of things, but if I ever picked up a big cruiser I would be tempted to try it.

That tire will probably outlast the bike! I knew a few Vicsters who darksided their bikes and they had no issues.
