PM member 2LZ; he had two of these a few years back. Perhaps he remembers enough of the details of his bikes' engines/carbs to solve your issues? Couldn't hurt to try!

PM member 2LZ--he used to have a pair of Hensim 150's a few years back and never had any problems with them. He might just be able to help your situation...

Thanks for the heads-up culcune!
If the bike your dealing with is the Hensim DB150cc CG motor, it should be cake. Good to hear it's running after the valve adjust. Remember Intake .05mm and exhaust .08mm, ice cold, overnight. Never adjust these CG's if the motor is even remotely warm. Things to look for. Replace ALL fuel line with known good and put in an inline good quality filter. The Chinese rubber breaks down on the inside and will toss constant crap at your jets, even if the fuel line looks good on the outside. Also, take a flashlight and look at the bottom of your fuel tank. Could be a bunch of crap you're sucking in or maybe the little sock at the petcock could be falling apart. If you see any bubbles, it's water, drain and refill. Also, start with the stock jetting. If you can access the idle mixture, set it at 2 turns out and then back up if need be. Pull the needle out of the slide and drop it to the fourth notch down. This will help on throttle response. I kept the stock jetting on my Hensim DB150's and just moved the needle clip and adjusted the idle mixture (after valve adjust) and they ran awesome. How's the spark plug? If unknown, replace it. These things are so simple. the only other issue could be the CDI...but if you're getting fire, it should be ok. Great little bike. Don't give up........... Here's the two we had that I sold to a friend and they still run great to this day.

Thanks for the reply! I had almost given up and decided to sell both of mine... I have some time today and I'll look at the things you mentioned. I replaced the spark plug with a match from autozone. Also I believe I adjusted the valves wrong, I made the exhaust .05 and intake .03. Info found in a YouTube video for a Honda so I'm guessing that's an issue. Those Hensim 150s are beautiful btw
