Icebear 300cc Trike

My name is Tony. I'm a brand new member to this forum. I own a year old Icebear 300cc Trike. No major issues, but I do have some questions for anyone who might own one of these. Any help?

Welcome Tony! I don't own that specific machine, but ask away! Maybe someone will be able to help.

I sent that on facebook. Both of us joined the same group not understanding that it was a UK group and they have to ride the small Chinese scooters and bikes that are regulated for speed.

Why would a government regulate a 50cc scooter to less than 30kph? They replace carbs, CDI's and other parts just to get them up to light speed.

This may sound silly, but I need to find out how to remove the plastic storage tub under the seat. I've removed every visible fastener and clip but it's still held up by something. I need to get to the ignition coil, some wiring, the air filter, etc.. I can barely get my hand near these items, much less a tool. The Icebear folks told me "Just remove the 2 screws and clips up front and it should pull right out". No, it doesn't!
