Exclamation Tao Tao DB17

I need to lower my bike as I am 5'1" and struggle extremely hard to get on and rife. I'm having trouble finding what "size" shock to get. Any suggestions?

Maybe just add spacers in rear shock and drop the fork tubes in the clamp? What forks u find compatible with that frame?

The DB17 does not work that way, it has a swivel shackle on the bottom and a bolt through shackle on the top. Only way to drop the height is a shorter shock.

At the angle you see on the mount there will be about a 1"=3" drop rate on the reduced length. Measure the shock, if you want a 3" drop get one inch shorter shock.

Be careful, you are going to lose travel on the rear wheel and bottoming will become an issue.

Make sure you drop the front the same amount you drop the rear, though precise handling on a dirt bike may not mean much.
