Inquiring minds want to know...

So, if we own a Zongshen RX3 or other model, are we considered Zonginologist, Zongites, Zongaphobic's, Zongapaths, Zongaphysicist... or???

If so, what constitutes one? How many Zong's do you need to qualify, is one sufficient?

I think I may need to see the Doc and discuss my medications... way too much time on my hands to contemplate nagging questions. That and get my bike back from the paint shop so I can assemble and ride again.

The preferred term is Zongite. Anyone who owns at least one Zongshen bike is a Zongite. However, some people who own vehicles with Zongshen engines also proclaim Zongite status.

As with RJ, my brakes also work well, and I am pleased with them. However, CSC is developing better, aftermarket brake pads for the stock, front brake caliper. In addition, CSC is also developing an improved, aftermarket, front brake rotor.

Also, you can purchase a different front brake caliper and adapter from Taobao.



In addition, you can also purchase an oversize, front brake rotor, which fits another front brake caliper.

I am more interested in the thicker, front brake rotor, which has increased surface area for braking. This brake rotor is 5 mm thick, and has mounting holes to accommodate both the 5-bolt, cast aluminum hub, and the 6-bolt, spoked hub.

Some of us ride Zongshen clones. The best clone I could find was a TW200, so I stuffed it with genuine Zong parts.

I'm surprised nobody commented on the issue of the smaller-than-announced fuel tank capacity I observed a few pages earlier.

Btw, I just finished reading all 276 pages in this thread. Good job guys, lots of great info here

Please post a photograph of your fuel tank. Did you empty the tank fully, and then refill it?

Congratulations on reading the entire thread. I started this thread a little over 18 months ago, and I am amazed that it has been viewed more than quarter of a million times. I am currently reading the entire thread once again, and I am enjoying the experience.

Yes, great job and a lot of useful info.

Yes, as we have a carburetor here, I drained the entire tank via the drain screw on the carburator
Then proceeded to fill it up and it barely took 14L.

I don't have a picture at hand, but definitely will take one when I take it apart to fix the fuel indicator float, that is another thing that needs to be fixed on this bike.

The trick is to bend it so it doesn't show empty so quickly

That is the same tank float employed by the bikes with EFI.
