I didn't catch it here but yes, that's the exact motor and cooling system that's in the RX3. Not the "ZS" on the engine number, It's a Zong!
I believe this bike is advertised with more HP though....and yes, good luck getting at those valves. The intake on the RX3 isn't bad....the exhaust on the other hand....

Sweet ride!

That's a real nice China bike and the included tool kit and EFI diagnosis kit is excellent. Can you confirm the advertised seat height is 37 inches? That's KTM territory.

Yes, it is. I'm beginning to think that the frame and geometry are "KTM inspired". The tank, exhaust and swing arm are very 2006-2010 KTM 250 looking.

Hard to get 12 inches of travel at both ends without the seat getting higher. I'm with you on it being a little too tall. I may drop the forks in the triples and put a lowering link on it after getting the rear suspension dialed. I'm a fat kid with short legs!!

The good thing is the springs are so soft that it drops to where I can flat foot it with a 32" inseam.

I forgot these earlier:

A few shots of the battery and air filter. The filter comes out the side panel. 2 screws to get it out.

You can also see the starter solenoid and CDI.

First oil change at 25 miles...

Oil was dumped warm after riding it home from inspection station. Oil looked beautiful and fresh. Almost a shame to dump it, but better safe than sorry. The oil filter looked pristine. I thought I had a replacement, but it was the wrong filter.

Here's how the magnet looked:

Was the drain plug a wee bit on the tight side ?

With 300mm wheel travel it will drop 100mm when seated if you set the sags...

Yes, it *feels* smaller than the specs as is. I haven't had time to mess with sag. I weigh enough and have had enough bikes to know that I will need a stiffer rear spring. Working on a solution from my "box 'o springs" in the garage; I have quite a collection from over the years.

As is, it is very good on the street.

Yes. That looks like the same bike with some minor differences.

I wish I knew what they were saying in that Video!

Well, the Pitster Pro LXR250 is now plated.

Turns out the inspection wasn't even necessary... because it was new. Better safe than sorry. PLUS, it was an excuse to ride. Now that I'm legal I need to do some explorin'.

Exactly...now that it's plated you wanna take it off the road and to where no plates are needed...just the desire to see what around that next bend in the trail or treeline....freedom!
