Rear brake questions for hawk

The rear brake on my hawk has stopped working and the bleed screw is badly stripped and maybe stuck. Does anyone know what size the bleed screw is to replace it, or know of anything else that could be causing the problem? The first thing I would like trying is to replace the bleed screw, but I want a replacement before I tear out the current one. Thanks!

I only just got my hawk 250 so I'm no expert, but i remember reading that if the brake pedal is set too tightly it can cause issues over time with the brake fluid heating up. There should always be a tiny bit of play before the cylinder is actually being compressed.
