New bike

Haven’t had a dirt bike in a few years but had a few over the years. Got it for $100. 2009 Baja DR150. Needs chain, carb cleaned, various rubber parts, a footpeg, gas tank cap and Kickstarter. So it looks like a 2001 XR100R clone.

I believe those were made by Hensim and sold as 'Baja' branded bikes via certain auto parts chain stores.

Hensim still makes them as sold by RPS, called the Viper 150.

I have had a few of those come through my shop ,really pay attention to the rear hub and spokes ,they will shit the bed on you and finding replacements has been futile .I ordered and paid for a complete wheel probably about 2009 ,it still has not arrived l.o.l. .Other than that those bikes run great for the money

Looks like it was cheaply painted white once. Sanded and painted.

That looks great! Like culcune correctly stated, it's a Hensim DB150. I had two if them. GREAT little bikes. Took them everywhere, never let us down. You stole it for the $$$.

Thanks!! Yea gonna be buying parts for a xr and “modify” to fit rather than buy cheap Chinese universal parts that are likely to snap lol all spokes are tight and I cleaned out gas tank. Throttle is locked up, probably cable, gonna pull cable and carb next. Here’s a better daytime shot

I looked up both Hensim DB150 and Baja 150 dirt bike and it appears to be a 420?? See link

Thank you but upon further investigation it’s a 428 chain. Got a 428 102 chain coming so hopefully that’s long enough since a xr is a 90 link.
