I couldn't believe how that dumb bird didn't fly away from the road! 8O That owl was big! I was busy trying to avoid hitting it, so I didn't concentrate on estimating its size.

However, that owl appeared to have a 4-foot wingspan! 8O Fortunately, we both parted company unharmed.
