Question on MSO and Decals

The Nebraska DMV website says the following:

1. Manufacturer's Statement of Origin(MSO)CANNOT indicate off-road use only. The manufacturer CANNOT have designed the vehicle as off-road, regardless of whether the off-road disclaimer appears on the vehicle's MSO. ยง60-339

2. Must display both the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (DOT) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification decals.

So... Does the Hawk MSO paperwork say off-road use only? Does the bike come with the decals?

Yes, most dealers will put "MOTORCYCLE" on the MSO. And NO the Hawk does not have the decals. Hopefully someone will have an answer about registering the hawk in Nebraska. For peace of mind, buy the Bashan Enforcer from apscusa.com. Its a Hawk with all the credentials (decals, etc)

My Hawk MSO had Motorcycle on it. It did have an off-road only sticker on the front fender but I pulled all of the stickers off when I put the bike together.

If your state doesn't want to register the Hawk for the street, and you want a Hawk as opposed to the other Hondoid options out there, get the Bashan Enforcer. It's listed as 'motorcycle" and DOT approved for street registration.

Are the parts on an Enforcer interchangeable with parts on a Hawk? For example, brake pads?

I can't find parts online for the Enforcer or any Bashan bike really? Advice?

Almost all parts from a Hawk should fit a Enforcer. Most parts from one China will fit another even with Bashan lots of parts from a Hawk will fit a Bashan. Same with the TT250 from CSC you could bolt that engine on a Brozz and it would be a perfect fit.
