I remember seeing a bunch of similar bikes about that old on Craigslist back in the day. They still pop up from time to time as well. Saw one a few months back listed as still running and looked decent.

Look pretty cool. Kind of like a China bike and a KLR had a baby.

After looking at the photos closer it appears to have the same tired swingarm as the Hawk and the TT250. I guess they are going to work that design for another generation of people

I had one of these back in 2006. Jetmoto was out of Northern California. However, my bike was technically an Alpine (re)brand(ed) bike. The sales guy explained the difference as being 'like Ford and Mercury'. I just called it a Jetmoto here on Chinariders. I think the 'difference' was Alpine was the Ebay bike that you expected to pay $950 to $1000 shipped to your home, depending on what special they had, whereas Jetmoto was supposed to be sold via dealers. I am pretty sure it's OEM was Shineray as Pete mentioned, but the manufacturer plate was Jetmoto. Decent bike at a time no one had sorted Chinese bikes out. Little back story as far as the origins of Chinariders; I had Jetmotogroup on Yahoo groups and another gentleman had Lifan GY 5 group (the GY 5 was very popular and one of the first EPA/DOT certified Chinabikes while most were like the Hawk and EPA certified off-road dirtbikes with street equipment). Member Frostbite who had a GY 5 started asking about our opinions on Chinariders and soon it was born. An offshoot of a couple of Yahoo groups that discussed Chinese bikes (mostly the GY 5 group).

I see those bikes several times a year ,even some brand new old stock examples .Last fall there was a pair of new ones left over from a guy selling bikes out of his home ,some parts missing from each as he robbed them for customers bikes ,but enough to build one complete easily with a spare engine left over ,guy wanted $350.00 for the pair with paperwork

"Old World China Bike". Hard, crack-able plastics, funky welds, rims that like to pull spokes through. My X-Moto was like it, along with all the old ones like the Tank, Jetmoto, Bashan Blaze and others. Back in the day, it was the only option. Today, the TT250, Hawk, Bashan line and others are the way to go.
It's one saving grace is it came with the best rack I've ever had on any bike.

It looks almost identical to my old Roketa.

That's some really neat info guy's. Normally I'll just read but I gotta give you guys who have been here a few days credit for pioneering us through this stuff. I hadn't a clue about that bike. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
