Found this forum when researching the TT250. Had no idea you could pick up a functional machine for around $2500 delivered. Anyway, I hope to purchase a bike in the Spring and begin my dual sport adventure.

Greetings!

Welcome to the forum! You definitely can’t go wrong with a TT250! There are a lot of videos on them and their customer support is outstanding! Post some pictures when you get it!

I'm looking forward to making my own modifications and doing my own upkeep. I just brought a 1978 Honda XR75 back to life, so now I have the fever to turn a wrench.

Welcome! The TT250 is kind of like the Cadillac of the cheap NR160 clones. Overall slightly better quality, comes assembled as part of the cost, better charging system, etc. It's worth the extra dollars if you can spring for it.

Just ordered a TT250. It was not so much the $200 sale CSC has that made me decide, but the lack of good deals on used Japanese bikes. The last straw was when a dealer would not drop a dime on a used Yamaha XT250. Came straight home and placed my order. I'm very excited.

Congrats on the new bike. You can't go wrong with the CSC TT250.

Even considering its Chinese-ness, I don't recall anyone having any real issues with the TT250 here on Chinariders. From what I have read, their parts department is like any other mainstream brand (except it is 3000 miles away for you ) in that you call, order, and they will most likely have the part in stock AND at a reasonable cost (this is compared to other Chinese bike distributors who don't have parts, or do, but at great cost).

My TT250 arrived today in perfect condition. Bravo CSC! Not even a crease in the cardboard outer protection. I'm like a kid on Christmas day.
