hi folks! I just joined your forum and look forward to learning much about my new ride. I have ordered a venom 250 3/4 size chopper and am looking forward to its arrival in the next week. I live on the coast of Maine where right now it is a crisp 5 degrees above zero, nobody riding today! As I have plenty of time before riding season I'm looking forward to assembling my new bike and checking everything over. Do many of you replace the original nuts and bolts with new grade 5 or 8 fasteners?

Hi, welcome aboard. You got us beat. Up here in Ohio it got down to7 degrees yesterday. Most of use use blue loctite to secure the bolts. As long as they don't fall off there shouldn't be any problems with them.

thanks! I have owned dozens of bikes over the past 40+ years. stopped riding a few years ago, but since I have retired (just 30 days now!) I thought a small light weight bike might help keep me busy. Looking forward to warmer weather and taking these coming cold months to get ready
