GALATA MOTORSPORTS / RABBIT SCOOTERS (my update pg 4)

They have "stolen" images of various users bikes here to use in thier ebay ad's and on thier rabbitscooters site. I personaly didn't care too much that my image was used, it was just one of the strikes... The lying begins already where they state in thier ad " We took all the pictures ourselves from the actual product shown.". If they cannot be honest about something as simple as this, how can you trust them with a bike purchase?

They are also ripping of peoples reviews of american lifan products, the gy's and the sportbike. They ripped them off the american lifan section on http://powersportsnetwork.com/ and represented them as thier own. These reviews are actually for american products, not these bikes, and for american lifan dealers.

I contacted them and asked them to remove my image (of not only my bike, but me on my bike) and review for a different product that they posted, and I recieved a very rude reply from them.

EDIT: Update on my experiences with them on page 4, apparently it was "one of their employee's" who I was dealing with here and who ripped off the images, it has been straightened out, and Brian apologized.

Good info. Plus they don't rate too high on the BBB.

It seems you have lots of time to read all of our text all the way. Thanks for your feedback though. By the way, instead of teaching a business lesson, you better mind your own business and you might need to look into your own laundry.
Jim,

Their response is eerily similar to the dialection in my Chinese owners manual.

By the way.. if they own a Chinese laundry, I wouldnt recommend dropping your laundry off. lol.

It seems funny that they imply that they really don't want you to read through all the text!?

well... I wish I had read this before I ordered from them... I ordered a bunch of stuff about 2 weeks ago and I have yet to hear from them or received anything... they did seem to have time to charge my credit card.

I am going to call them tomorrow to cancel my order... wish me luck.

a number of places on the internet lie about the lifan gy-5. They state maximum speeds as 75mph+, they show a picture of the ohc engined bike yet state they have the balanced engine. they misrepresent the gas mileage as 100mph when its about 60-70. overall, I do not know how they've gotten away with the lies. i hope for their sakes they can come clean and sort this all out. i hate to see anyone lose they livelihood, but the products need to be represented fairly and truthfully. jmho

If a place lies to make a buck, They should be out buisness...It makes the Honest bike dealers look bad also...WHich shines a bad light on the bikes . People expect more because of the ad, and than bad mouth the bikes when they cannot do the things what the dealers say they can do. The price alone sells the bikes all they have to be is honest about the limitations they have.
