Where do you mount your tool tube?

I'm thinking I'd like to have waterproof tool storage on the bike somewhere.... and still leave plenty of room in my stock saddlebags. Has anyone found a clean solution to store some longer tools on the bike, but not in the bags?

Charles.

EDIT: Second read I see you were asking where? I think i have seen them mounted low in various positions (like off of both front/rear rack/guards).

These seem to popular

I bought traditional "burrito tubes" from agrisupply.com for a few bucks each.

This is a larger one I didn't buy.

The large holds a standard Scotch bottle, and the small holds 3-5 cigars depending on the vitola. I put another large tube on the right side. I used a variety of hardware and some rubber-covered cable clamps to go around the side case frame.

Warning, despite the common "burrito tube" name, they will not fit all burritos. The ones from your neighborhood corner Mexican joint are perfect, in my experience. Those over-rounded ones from Chipotle will not fit at all. I'm guessing the problem is that real Mexican burritos are metric, and Chipotle's are SAE.
