Exhaust gasket too thin?

I got the new head on my RX3, along with a big bore kit. It started right up... and is making horrible, horrible noises. I'm pretty sure the problem is the exhaust gasket in the head. The flange on the header is flush with the head and I never felt any resistance from the gasket crushing. Did different model years have different thickness gaskets?

Charles.

The thickness of the gasket depends on the manufacturer it is best to buy OEM I know a Chinese guy on ali who gets me parts from the Zongshen factory such as the lamp the center footpeg the fenders etc I can give you a contact he gets everything straight from the factory he is the cheapest seller of parts for Zongshen on aliexpress.
