If money is no object, TT250 from CSC in California. Otherwise, the Blue Eagle Brozz from Peace Sports. IMHO of course.

It will depend on price and other factors. As Chazglenn3 said, the TT250 is about the best of these bikes out of tbe box. It literally comes assembled, with PDI, and even gasoline in the tank. It is one of the most expensive of the bunch, however.

As he also mentioned, the Brozz 250 is a fantastic bike, but you will have to assemble it. However, Jeff from Peacesports, the company who distribute them in the US has several videos on assembly and other stuff. The wheel size, however, are deal killers for some who only want 21/18 wheels. The TT comes with 21/18, and the Brozz is 19/16 or thereabouts.

Pitster Pro have a few enduros but they are technically off-road dirt bikes according to the EPA, so might not be street legal, or at least require some extra hoops to become street legal, depending on where you live, if that is part of your plan. They are a bit pricey as compared to other brands, but seem to be worth the extra money. They are about as close to being able to go off-road out of the box.

The Hawk is well sorted out by now, although is reported to require extra 'love' is quite a good deal. Research it here on Chinariders and youtube. Motocheez has dozens of videos on Hawk ownership on Youtube.

Also, consider the BMS CRP 250.

Off hiding in the shadows... it's rare for anyone to read my words and less will actually see the posted pics on my review anyways

Seems most just watch a "funded youtube video" and order from one of "Manny's" places no matter what I do

With that said (again... and again...)

A CSC TT250 or a Peace Brozz 250 would be the first places/bikes I would shop for... after that I would skip all the online drop shippers and find an actual Dealership "locally" that is selling a Pitster Pro

Best of luck, buy a lotto ticket, and all that other jazz

I know who you are referring to as far as videos go but his videos are good no matter where you buy a Hawk.

CSC and PeaceSports are probably your best bet. If you are looking for other brands Don with shopapmc who I have bought from in the pass is very knowledgeable about the bikes and has provide good service to me and few others on here. http://shopapmc.com/Motorcycles_c_7.html There's also Venom and Powersportsmax.

Thanks guys! This thread is really helpful. I was looking at a crf-250 when I saw the ads for the Chinese bikes. I then found this place and spent hours reading around. I think i'm going to go with the Brozz 250 - We're in NC so I might go pick up the bike. I can take the family on a little vacation and see the Atlanta Aquarium. I haven't ridden on the street in a while and the bike will mainly be for the dirt and nothing too crazy, not yet anyway.

As far as what model to get, I don't think i've ever ridden a bike with rear disc brakes so I'm not leaning towards either way. I guess it might be easier to sell the one with rear disc down the line. What do you guys recommend? Considering that I was going to spend honda money, these bikes are a bargain for the back to riding crowd.

Thanks!

Thanks for the link that's a killer price!

Thumbs Up

Hands down this would be my pick with second place too far back in a dust trail to see.

https://www.orionpowersports.com/ori...embled-tested/

$1750 if you skip the starter kit. Fast ace front and rear suspension, not a crappy rear swingarm, 1/4 twist throttle and the looks! Does not even look like a china bike. All it needs is a headlight, tail light and horn and your street legal and unless your from Cali your fine, mco says motorcycle so your golden. Did I mention the looks of it? Check it out!
