TAOTAO 125H Chokes at High RPM

Has been running great. Had to replace the battery. Now it dies at a little over half throttle. Could that be a valve issue? I have checked the air filter, did not change when I removed it. I replaced the fuel filter. The fuel line had a little kink in it so I shortened it and still no fix.

Anyone have any ideas? It is the stock carb. Maybe some trash in the carb?

I would pull fuel line from carb and verify it's flow to that carb. Mabey that new filter is restrictive? Try without

I will try that fuel filter but I was having the problem before replacing the filter. I replaced the filter thinking maybe that was the problem.

I sure don't know anything about carbs but you might try playing with adjust screws and remembering where they are set. May break loose some trash by turning the screws. To me , points to carb if ran ok before. Pull the carb and clean

I have a filter that I have been meaning to install also.

Good luck

Did the machine sit for awhile?? bad gas? if so drain the tank fill it up with fresh gas. Mine was doing the same thing and the more I rode it the better it got with each top up. Which led me to believe it was bad gas.. Might be your problem also.
