LOL When I got my Hawk home it took it out the truck thinking I would wait till morning to put it together. Yeah right. I grabbed a quick snack and put it together that night. Took a quick ride about 11 that night.

I don't have the light out there in my man Shed. Which is filling up fast, which is why that work shop has to get finished soon. Well I guess if I quit buying dirt toys I can buy some more lumber.

I know my priorities are all jacked up. I will post lots of pics and maybe some video tomorrow.

The wife did say she likes this bike better than the pics I showed her. She said "those big ugly, gold, bling, bling forks looked hideous on that red bike, but I wasn't gonna tell you that"

Hey, nice bike. I prefer a drum brake on the rear also.

As they say, Heyman, nice bike!

Tires come and go quick so you can put on what ever you desire in the future, especially if you will be doing lots of fieldwork.

Blue Threadlocker. Main tighten points for sure, break caliper, shifter, steering coller nut, kickstand nut, clutch tension,...and everything else, then do it again. Easy does it with the brittle plastics.

Get some kind of lube or oil in the cables too first thing, you know what to do with the engine fish oil (no Saturday night stir fry).

The bracket on the right looks like it's for the tank shrouds.

Yes, I remember it goes 'down the middle' under the tank, and you bolt the tank plastics to it on either end (it has been a few years since putting my TMEC together so I don't remember exactly how it bolts on)

The one on the left is a mystery to me. Like hertz9753 mentioned, the one on the right, you bolt on the plastics that are associated with the tank. It goes under the tank, across. I remember having one of those on my TMEC 200 for the tank plastics.

The one on the left looks like it is for plastics, too, but not sure where it goes since I did not have anything like that on my TMEC.

Thanks guys. That is exactly what they are. The two on the left are the front fender support. And the one on the right is the lower Tank shroud support. Sadly I must quit with her today. I have to get ready for date night. But check this out. This bike has a real Keihin Carb and an NGK spark plug from the factory

My TMEC 200 came with the same carb, but not the NGK. NEVER touched the thing. Didn't want to! I never had any of the issues all the Hawk guys seem to have. My bike always started, even if left for a couple weeks (I did commute on it almost daily, 12 months a year, minus vacations, so it was almost always in use). In fact, the guy who is supposed to buy my bike has possession of it, and he got it to start after sitting in my carport for 6 months. Great carb you got stock with it; if you are desiring to change jets and whatnot, I can't help you since I never touched it. My 2009 TMEC had the same carb, too, but the only thing I touched on it was the external idle screw because I had bought it used, and prior owner(s) had played with it. But that bike ran and ran, so I attribute that to the carb
