New guy from Sacto area

Hi all - long time street rider here. I went to a adv rally recently and my DL1000 was not cut out for the sand and rough dirt roads. I am looking at the TT 250 to replace the DL. Very exciting to be bike shopping and learning on this forum

Welcome aboard. Lots of options out there. I'm sure you will get many opinions on what to get. The TT250 is a good choice.

Welcome to here!!

If Sacto is short for Sacramento, then the TT250 is about all he can get here in California (NOT a bad thing by any means), Jerryhawk, unless he went full dirt and wanted an Apollo which is also California legal. Not sure how long it will take, but BMS is expecting CARB certification for its dual-sport in early 2019, which will make the list of dual-sports available in California, TWO bikes long, lol
