MY Bashan Brozz is stuck in 2nd gear.

Does anybody have an idea of what could be the problem? I an unable to put the bike into any gear, and it happens to be stuck in 2nd gear.

More than likely the stopper arm went behind the stopper plate in the shifting mechanism. Check out the thread, It should help. http://chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=20032&page=2

I had a Chinabike over ten years ago which I bought a crate engine for when the stock engine failed. I paid a guy in Mexico to install it (I lived in Yuma at the time). I was able to ride it home, and commuted a couple days on it, but thought the transmission failed as it would not go into gear; after I parted some parts out (these bikes were pretty interchangeable back then, and parts were scarce, so those of us on the Chinariders' forums bought parts from failed bikes), the guy who ended up buying my carcass got it back on the road in no time with stocked up parts he had--it was simply the cable needing adjustment (or it was too long?--was a long time ago). Check the cable, first, and its placement.

Make sure the lower front sprocket cover bolt didn't back out and block the shift lever from moving all the way.
