that's an excellent idea! im also looking into performance carbs. would a 32mm be too much for this bike? should I wait to install the new exhaust? also if I were to port/polish the intake/exhaust do you think the top end would hold up?

You could port the intake but never polish your intake. You need some turbulence to mix the air gas so a slightly ruff surface on the intake works. Polish the exhaust port it makes a big difference. Polish the carb intake. Break in the engine first. 32mm is to big. Get a Mikuni VM26 carb and you'll be set.

Brozz riders check this out.
Read the Taobao tutorial found on this site. You'll have to look it up. I use Taobaotrends. This is a complete front and rear set with tires and wheels with the alloy rims. These are the tires that came on my bike and I think they do a good job. You have to measure the brake drum as there are 2 basic sizes with the Chinese dual sports. You can contact the sellers and ask for the right size brake drum. The shipping from China will run about the same as the part so double the price you see for the part and you'll be close. https://world.taobao.com/item/220427...3-77d0a88d319a

Greetings, all. Looking hard at the 250 Brozz also. Looking for a small dual sport like this for my wife and and these seem like maybe a good way to go for the price. I'm sure they're not perfect but I've been turning wrenches on bikes for years so I don't imagine a 250 single would present too much that I couldn't deal with. Since these seem more rare than the Hawks is getting parts an issue?
I just signed up for the site here today so I may not have seen the thread that talks about parts.

Hi welcome to the forum. Most of the parts on these bikes are interchangeable. Amazon, ebay and Taobao have almost everything you will need. Look to CSC for everything else.
