Installed JT 42 Tooth Rear Sprocket.
Note1: I bought $5 set of snap ring pliers from Harbor Freight and they were not sturdy nor large enough to do the job. Luckily i had a pair of needle nose pliers that were more than adequate. Also, i was surprised to find the 4 bolts to be quite easy to remove, they were maybe 10 ft/pounds if that. I blue locktited them back on and made them nice and tight evenly, no movement laterally.
Note2: Went from 5 adjustment lines down to 2 with the Niche 428 Chain

Feels very good on the road.. Hit a GPS verified 68mph before having to slow down but im thinking 70mph on a long flat is possible, nice increase over the 46 rear and did not degrade power to a noticeable degree.

500mi oil change and valve adjustment
Removed 1 link from the chain since the 42 tooth rear pushed me to only having 2 adjustment lines left with the new chain. I now have 5 adjustment lines remaining.. Great success!

replaced the toolbox with a dynaplug air compressor and wired it to my A2 aux

I cut the toolbox with a dremel and kept the spine, cut two small holes into the nylon bag that came with my dynaplug and fited the "spine" into the bag and viola done

Pretty pleased with this, removes a big hassle of having to get off the bike - remove the battery panel etc etc

heres the final product in action:

I finally got around to installing the Renthal bars with riser/adapter, and Pro-Taper grips yesterday. Looks so much better. Today I replaced the the rear shock as well.

Mounted my tire changer to the floor as well, as it's getting new tires and tubes when I get around to it in the next few weeks. I don't really need the changer to do tubed dualsport tires, but it holds the rim more nicely. Seems a bit of a waste to get rid of tires with only 1500km on them, but five year old Chinese tires are probably best replaced.

First, are you trying to start it via the remote start or the actual electric startee button on the handle bar? Secondly, when you press the start button is the bike trying to start but it just wont turn over? Or is not making any noise at all like trying to turnover? When you turn power on are the headlights bright?

If you are using the handle bar start button and its chugging like trying to start but just wont fully turn over chances are it is your battery.

I had the opposite issue with mine after assembly.. the bike would not turn off via the ignition after it was used to turn on the bike with starter. I had to disconnect and reconnect the remote start (black box under the seat) to correct, You may want to try that as well just i case.

Changed my tires today. That stock rear tire was a real pain to remove it was so stiff. The new rear is a bit narrower so the bike looks a little different Of course then we got snow today, so I couldn't test it out.

Today I upgraded my battery. The stock battery stopped holding a charge.

Today I finally ordered my new intake manifold. The bike has less than 300 miles on it and for some reason that metal manifold has a leak/hairline craCk already. I drove myself crazy for months trying to figure out why different carbs and jetting didnt work. I checked for leaks in every other spot but not the metal manifold. Today something told me to spray carb cleaner on the intake manifold and BOOM there it was it was the leak. So I ordered the new manifold and should be here within the week!

2020 Brozz. Finally got all my ducks in a row, MSF BRC, class M endorsement, insurance on the bike, all legal since yesterday. Took my first real ride today after practicing on my personal property for about a month. 20 minutes ride on a 65mph 4-lane highway and 15 minutes through town. Then I rode back.

Everything is stock and I made a top speed of about 62 according to GPS (speedo claimed 70). Not the fastest but pleased with my purchase of a first bike.

Good to read everything legal for you. The Bashans come with fairly highway friendly gearing from stock (17/46), although there are members who have very high gearing (on different brand bikes, like the Hawk or TT250) such as 17/40 or so. You are probably at the perfect gearing if you are planning some dirt riding, however. Once the engine breaks in, you should be seeing 65; maybe faster. From numerous members here, people do general mods on Chinese dual-sports, such as new carb, rear sprocket, and exhaust, and report no real top speed gains, but lower revs at the top speed, which means less vibration.

Some thing to keep me busy while its freezing outside:

Removed all of the Pair valve plumbing and fabricated a block off plate from the leftover crate material
