Cool pics! Good to see the BRP make a reappearance! And I think I see a wee bit of Rogers KLR behind you in the first pic. Looking forward to the ride report 8)

I believe that Spud has permanently attached his helmet to his head.

Spud will have to fill in where this pic was taken. I was just happy to have ridden there with my good friends and brothers. Honestly officer I wasn't speeding! Who would have thought that the only person we'd see in dozens of miles would be a sheriff, and at 9,200 feet! Roger and the KLR. Because his 6.1 gallon tank was my KLX's 'emergency supply (The KLX holds 2.1 gallons) we nicknamed his bike the Kawasaki Valdez. :P It turns out that at between 65 and 70 MPG I was always able to reach a fuel stop, but twice with less than .2 gallons to spare! 8O The KLX enjoying some quiet time in Inman Canyon. On the Oregon Trail headiong out to the 7,500 foot Big Southern Butte.

Beautiful pictures FastDoc. Glad to see the three of you enjoying the ride and nature. So you rode all the way to Spud with Roger?

We brought the bikes to Spudland in Roger's F150. 8)
I'll post more pics as I can, I've been so busy since I've been home. I'm hoping Spud posts a ride report too as I don't recall many of the names of the wonderful places we visited.

Actually, we went on three day rides, and a short ride the evening you got into Spudville. In regards to ride length, I can only make two comments. Get a larger fuel tank, and "cowboy up," whiner!
Spud :P

I don't think I have ever seen a small displacement bike with over 50K it.
As for the helmet. It must be a fashion accessory.

I figured you would be busy working on the Zong.
I am SO GLAD it's a fairly minor problem, and you and Andy were SO WISE to remove it from service before it broke itself in a more difficult way. Cowboy up, eh? :? I suppose I deserve that...
