SSR Razkull (knock-off?) $1499 Out the Door

I have been looking for something to get around the city on and I was considering a Taotao Lancer 125 for about $1,000 out the door. This might be more fun. Razkull MSRP is $1,999 plus taxes, destination charge, and other fees. This is the dealer I purchased my XF 250 from, so maybe this is actually a rebadged SSR?

price seems in line with others I see on the webs. just don't get your hopes too high on the power. most of the grom clones are not up to grom level. this one rates less than 10 HP....

Called the dealer and found out a few things. The lil DUC uses a common pit bike Honda clone motor design, and the RAZKULL has a different top end; otherwise they are the same. He says aftermarket performance parts for the lil DUC are going to be more plentiful.

He says top speed stock is 45-50 but with sprockets and jetting this thing does about 53 mph, still not as fast as a lancer 150.

The lil Duc is produced by the same company who sell the Vader. I figured it out through Kronik's website. Baodiao is the OEM of the Vader.

It wouldn't take much to have one of the companies send you one since no EPA/DOT is needed (at least I don't think). But the costs would be prohibitive. You are probably going to have to find used ones (for cost effectiveness) in a few more months or so to create projects. Couldn't hurt to try an email to Baodiao/Boom in California and/or China, however.

Venom Motorsports sells their version, but it is called the X 21 and sells for $1,399. I was looking at that bike myself. They also make a Grom clone called X 20. Both bikes use the same engine, but the X 20 sells for $1,299. I have never purchased anything from Venom Motorsports, so I don't know how they are. They have some YouTube videos.

Keep us posted on what you decide to get.

I just took Delivery of a Venom Motorsports Canada X21 today. I haven't finished putting it together yet. I ordered the bike on the 26th of May, and received it today. 7 business days of that it was out of stock and 6 additional business days was due to shipping to where I live.

Ill be making a post in the dealer section for my experiences with them, and also more about the bike and quality!

Congrats! I prefer your bike's look to the traditional Vader 125, but that bike is made by the same company who make the Vader.

Thanks!

That is correct its made by boom and drop ships from the same location as the Vader's. Haven't seen this model for sale on other sites though. It's a boom bd125-8 on it's decals.

Congrats!

Hey Nnutthowz3!

How's your X21 coming along? On Venom Motorsports website it lists it for $1,399. Why the price difference? Tell us more!

Update when you can,

Hey Kirbo!

I created this thread as not to high Jack this one.

I can't honestly answer the price difference. I did however get $100 off of that price, and then received a discount on the shipping to the door just for asking ( I don't live in a metro area so it is normally $100 additional shipping to a house.) Take a look at the photos, if there is something more you are curious on let me know!

To speak on Venom, They are easy to communicate with but I ordered the bike when it was out of stock so had to wait 7 days for a new container of them. Then the shipping company was the blind leading the blind after it left Road Runner. The MCO they claimed to send to me express. But its been 10 days or longer and i still don't have one. They did "re-send" one on Tuesday and supplied tracking per my request this time.
