Interesting! I did not know that! I wonder why Kawalski did that? Tire choices maybe?

I've wondered the same thing. My KLR250 also has a 21/17 setup. The thought has crossed my mind to get a 17" front rim and create a supermoto.

Well, I think when I stated that a "true enduro" or dirt bike has a 21/18 setup, that's also harkening back to when I was much younger and that was the standard setup for a very long time, decades even.....but the super early Yamaha Enduro's came with 18/18 setups. First thing you did was toss on a 21"er!

There are so many tire choices now-a-days I guess it doesn't really matter much.
