it is a magnet with a coil around it and one blue wire coming from it.
it mounts on with two bolts and the "flywheel???* spins and the signal tells when to spark,

if you look on here somewere is tech papers im not sure if you have a gray market or if there is really any diffrence but check to see if yours matches the lifan i have listed if it does my best guess is you have to get a lifan and i would go to hooper or bruce at ej cycles instead of fighting with al. i dont know if its diffrent from everybody else but i know if you put a cdi box on your lifan and its a regular box the box will smoke and the voltages are very diffrent

I have bought a wrecked Lifan LF50QT-2A as a project in the hope of getting it going and the wiring is a complete mess. I noticed a cut wire coming from engine casing and realised it went to the stator and pick up coil so I bought a new stator with coil and am assured it is the correct one.
There is a white block on the end and I know where that goes but there is also a male and female bullet connection on the outside of the block. Has anybody got any idea where here connect to please. Any help would be appreciated
