APSCusa purchase

I just put my order in for my son's gokart. So far Don has been great. He has answered my questions and verified they have his color in stock.

I will update this thread when delivery happens.

Disappointed

So I picked up my kids Birthday present today at the UPS freight terminal and the shipping packaging was visibly damaged. The UPS employee would not allow me to open the package there but he did note on my paperwork that there was damage to the packaging.

Needless to say after opening the box at home there was also damage to the Go Kart.

I ordered this through APSCusa because I felt that Don would stand behind the sale. I reached out to Don tonight so we will see how APSC handles this compared to how Manny at TX,360....and so on would handle this.

Fingers crossed.

This is the Kart I ordered:

I will be waiting to hear how it goes... we have similar "careful shipping practices" around here so I always expect the fork lift the be backed into whatever I ordered (if your lucky it's "backed into" not "forked to death")...

I'm still slowly (re)saving up to buy some more Chinese "Dual Sports"... trying to see if I can get a good deal on the HAWK and Magician from APSC... but not I'm not going to order another bike from a company that doesn't stand behind items that clearly got damaged during shipping

I'll hook you up with this guy in Texas I know.... "Manny" is his name. Heard good things...... ;-)

I have yet to get ANY good after-sale service from one of the "box store" sites. I'll be watching this thread. Nice cart!....btw.

APSC told me I need to file a claim with the shipper so I contacted UPS Freight and filed a claim.

UPS seemed decent about it. The UPS employee acknowledged the damage so lets see where this goes.

I would say it's lucky this happened with ups vs some no name low name shipper.
