You serious? What size of clip is used on that beast of a motorcycle, and what brand are you using just in case I've never tried them... I always like new tools to try ?
Those Channellocks should work on yours "Internal circlip capacity: 3/8 in. to 2 in.; external circlip capacity: 1/4 in. to 2 in" I have yet to find a clip on my motorcycles the Channellocks couldn't handle... but I don't own the bike you are working on so ... I have had problems with the Harbor Freight, Craftsman, Tusk, and several dozen others (would always 'slip off' or break the tips at the least convenient of times)... I got those 'Channellocks' and have had no problems since

I took it to the neighborhood auto shop and even he had great difficulty getting it off. I finally have the 45 tooth sprocket on. $5 well spent getting the snap ring off and back on with a new sprocket.
