Electric starter Yeah, Kick starter Nah

Hello my fellow China bike brothers.

Something that I am not entirely sure as to why this happens; when the bike is cold, electric and kick starter both gets her to life. But, as soon as she is warm? no way, that kick starter achieves nothing, cannot get her to start..

I don`t use the choke at all and I try and use the kick starter as much as possible to save on the electric starter... and obviously the old man is doing some exercises as well...

I`m thinking carburetter maybe ?

Appreciate any ideas, thx

I would guess one or both of your valves is tight. When the bike is cold, the valve can seat because the stem is just a tiny bit shorter than when it is hot. Once it's hot, you are probably losing too much compression due to the leaking valve to kickstart it. The electric starter spins the engine faster and allows it to start.
Adjust your valve lash and you should be good to go.
