Efi?

Anyone ever try to use one of those EFI kits you find from China. More specifically on a china clone.

No, not yet, but I do eventually plan on trying one. I personally don't mind carburetors, especially on a 1 cylinder engine. I think what holds most people back is the lack of reviews on their quality. A $30 carb and $10 in jets is a reliable tried and true that everybody can trust. $300 for a big bunch of unknowns is a whole different story.

You hit right on target! That's what I was looking for was to see if I can reduce the unknowns to less unknown. I want to try but I also don't want to complicate a reliable and simple system.

On that note : Ill probably try it by the end of the summer rolling into fall unless I upgrade to the ZS165FMM 250cc motor (try to)

yes $300.00 price tag would not welcome me ,though the DLX hawk 250 that is supposed to come out this year is going to have efi ,an talk about it being a fully loaded bike digital dash ,i wonder if it will be the 229cc they say $2999.00 will have to see ,what it sells for an be more street ready may be up your alley Ceasar1010
