Head Scratching Anyone have a Dongfang Ghost?

New member here! I originally posted this in "New member/introduction" page and realized this is probably the better place for my questions!

I'm looking to get a Dongfang Ghost (Army Green) this summer but I had some questions based on some reviews I saw online. This will be my first bike BTW.

Even though the speedometer says it is in MPH it actually reads KPH. Is there a way to fix it without getting a new speedometer? I like the look of it and I would like to keep it if I can; and I would rather not use my phone to track speed every time I ride.

Is there anything in/on the bike I need to be cognizant of when I first get it? Like is there a part that just isn't built well and I should replace right away?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

It looks like a really sharp bike and perfect for riding around town and going to/from work, so I'm looking forward to getting it.

Check all the bolts and locktight anything that's loose. You'll probably need to adjust the carburetors idle, air gas mixture and you might need to re-jet the carb as most of these bikes come set very lean from the factory. Most guys find the valves are too tight and need to be adjusted. You can find info for all this here on this site or on line.

Thank you so much for the tips!
I'll definitely adjust those when I get the bike. This is a great starting point.
