2017 Apollo 36 250cc Wiring issue.

So I recently bought a used Apollo 250cc dirt bike and it was a bit of a project bike but I was going through the wiring and I found some cut wires down by the front sprocket and they plug into the motor with a weird male 6 pin connector that I can’t find anywhere I have been looking for this wire replacement for a solid week with no luck anywhere not even a picture of the thing I need some help!

Those wires are for the gear indicator switch. On that bike you will only use the neutral wire. Check with Orion powersports for a replacement switch.

A gear indicator switch needs that many wires?

On some bikes like my hawk the digital cluster will show 1st thru 5th gear. Most engines will have the same switch whether it's used or not.

The neutral light won't work and you will have to pull the clutch every time you start it. It's part of the safety system. You could use a multi meter to see which wire is the neutral and reconnect it. Should be green/red wire.

I know this is an old thread but I'm having the same problem. So what you're saying is you should be able to start the bike in any gear, as long as you pull the clutch in, correct? If the wires from the neutral switch are cut, it should not effect spark or lack of as long as the clutch switch works and is pulled in? Thanks!

if you go to your clutch you might see 2 wires going to it...tape those to together and you shouldn't have to pull the clutch.....thats what I did
