A short 50 mile day ride on Q with my friend Roger

I had 1/2 day free yesterday and the weather was nice so my friend Roger and I went for a short local ride on our matching Q's. We explored the windmills on a local ridge curiously named Jump Off Joe. We had some nice views of the Columbia and Snake Rivers, and of the Tri-Cities in general.

Sorry we did not take more pics, most were on his phone I'll have to ask him to send me copies. :?

The Q's did great. Roger was a bit limited on some slimy muddy climbs due to his stock dual sport tires. My Q with it's dirt only Dunlops did fine. :P

Overall a fine time for all involved, but Roger decided to invest in some nice electric gloves! 8)

Looks like it was a great day.

I'm not even sure that I remember how to ride, it's been so long. :(

Cool pics, I love watching those giant windmills spin when your up close like in your pictures. I almost got a gig hualing the blades out of Texas to Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa a couple years ago. There is a place outside of LA, I wanna say I-10 near Palm Springs, that's just filled with those things. Most of them are older but it's still pretty wild to look at because it's just mile after miles of them....probably thousands of them.

While it's been on my list for several years, I still haven't invested in a heated vest, or gloves. For now, I'm going to have to focus on getting new tires pretty soon.
