I haven't researched them lately. Is the quality improving with the newer models? Still using pot metal to build the parts?

Many improvements in build quality. Keihen throttle bodies, redesigned cylinders and pistons, 10:1 compression ratio(up from 8.5:1), better aluminum rims. Big increases in price, too.
