New to Sport Bikes | JL250P-2 with Pics | From TX

Hey all!

Mike here from Houston TX. Brand new to sport bikes and learning about them. Just recently picked up a 2012 JL250P-2 from a friend (ROKETA MC-25-250?) with only 250 miles on the chassis and engine.

I've always been a fan of the Honda CBR (particularly the Repsol 250) but I've never owned, nor even ridden a bike until I bought this one. I'm just trying to soak up as much info as I can with regards to technique and safety while I get my feet wet.

So far I'm really enjoying this bike and it has behaved pretty well. The Spyder in the first pic is my other toy.

Any other JL owners on this forum?
