TT250 Rims

Hello
Are the rims on the TT250 Aluminum Alloy or Steel?

I am thinking about changing over to 18 21 setup when the time comes to replace the tires.

Goat, have you looked into going disc in the rear? The hub of the wheel is probably way different on the tt250/Hawk due to the disc brake setup. My only reason for saying so is during my rear sprocket change, I noticed that we don't have to deal with sprocket studs or any kind of snap ring.....our hub on the left side is truly different.

Ahhhh good point I did not even think of this.

I wish I could just find a decent set of replacement tires.

The front is the issue 1.85 and 19 inches is not a common size.

The rear 2.50 x 17 is a non issue plenty of choices.

Found a shinko SR241 not thrilled with it but it would fit.

Code:
Part #: 87-4446
Size: 2.75-19
Speed Rating: P
Load Index: 43
Recommended Rim Size: 1.85 in
Outside Diameter 25.16 in
Width: 2.95 in
Ply: 4 ply
Max psi: 33 psi
Tube Type: Tube
Price: $43.95

244
Code:
Part #: 87-4411
           2.75-19
           P
           43
           1.85 in
           25.16 in
           2.92 in
           4 ply
           32 psi
           Tube
           $41.95
For the rear either a 705 or an 804 has a size that would work.
This maybe what I will end up doing.

Well, if you come across a decent set of replacement rims lmk......I downed my bike two weekends ago and slid it into a tree, bending the front rim. She's done for the season until that gets addressed. (Also have to repair or replace the left side panel, and replace the left rear turn signal)

Don't trust them tires in mud, just saying LoL

If you don't mind not using a factory size than a 100/90-19 front tire will fit on your 1.85x19 front wheel (see my Goldwing for proof) and it opens the door to a lot more options. It will make the front tire .6-.7" larger in diameter, which will throw the speedo off a tiny bit, but it's an option.

On the flip side, if you ever want to make your Brozz a road only bike, there is a whole world of tires out there that will fit the wheels you have.
