riding around the ohio valley

I took the bike out today. Rode over and picked up my daughter and we went for a ride. The bike ran well and we cruised for about 20 miles. The weather was in the mid 40's so bundling up was necessary; eventually, after about an hour of riding, my butt was numb and my legs frozen solid.
We rode mostly in town, because I am afraid of back roads with shaded spots where ice can hide. I took the bike into some large gravel, which was a little scary. Also, I do not recommend riding across the wheeling suspension bridge with this bike. The tires seem to have a mind of their own on that steel grate surface. Also, next time I go riding I am going to bring some clothes that need mending. lol.
fun fun fun
