Apollo or TaoTao?

Not sure if this is the right/best spot but I wanted your guys' opinions. Im new to China dirt bikes but am in the market to get something for my 8 year old. I think I have narrowed my decision down to either the Apollo DB-34 or the TaoTao DB-14. Both are 110cc bikes that are about perfect height for my kid. Can anyone offer me their opinions on which bike/brand to get? I think the Apollo looks a little better but the TaoTao is about $100 cheaper. Thanks in advance!

Don't nickle-and-dime at this price range. They are already both inexpensive. I've had the TaoTao DB-10 and it was pretty good. I would strongly suggest checking out offering from Orion Powersports given my recent experiences.

I'd say get the cheaper one, they all about the same build quality, with the $100 your saving, get a stack of filters, throttle cables,all those easy to break items i fitted a atv style 2-way gear shifter as my 8 year old is made of nothing, shifts up and down easy,
