Seems i have traded 2 wheels for the Brits...

I mentioned this thing in the What did you buy thread earlier this week. Now that i have looked at it and settled on buying it i may as well start a thread on it. I will likely have an update on the MG thread shortly as well as i plan to get it up and running in July.

This is what i know of the car so far:

1977 Triumph TR7 coupe
Ford Mustang II/Pinto 2.8 V6 and 4 speed transmission
The V6 was swapped in for a planned turbo build from how i understood things. However even just the transition from 4 cyl to V6 netted almost 40 extra HP.

And since we all like pics... Ill post the ones i pulled from the ad on fb. I will get some better pics when it is in the yard in about a week or so.

As far as i understood it ran and drove 20 years ago and was stored in a garage up until recently. The seller has had it running by jumping the coil and solenoid. From the way it seems apparently the original ignition switch failed and that may have been the why it was parked. However I have already got a lead on a new switch, Key tumblers for the doors and ignition. So i suspect it will not be long till its up and running.
