Doh! DF250RTS Cranking but not starting, not running

Hi guys! Sadly my bike has been down for about a month and I need help troubleshooting. Hoping someone is familiar with my bike. The problem started out as hard starting. Then it started to die on me while riding when I fully pulled in the clutch. Now it wont start at all no matter how much throttle I give it.

If I do force it to start it will die with no throttle. Will not idle

So far I've checked for spark and its good.
I've crossed the starter solenoid terminals as well and it cranks but still wont start.
I also replaced battery, but may have drained the new one trying to start bike.

What should be the next thing I check? It's hard to find videos on this bike and I do not have an owners manual. Any help will be much appreciated. This is my first bike so my experience with working on them is minimal, but i'd like to learn.

Thank you.

Pull the plug and post up some pictures of it, probably just replace it too. Have you checked/adjusted the valves yet? Have you made any modifications?

Tank has fuel in it. Not really sure how to check if the cylinder is getting it. Today I plan on cleaning the carb and jets out.. if it has a little old gas is it cool to put new gas on top or should the tank be drained?

No mods so far. I’ll post pics when I make it home from work today. Not sure how to check or adjust valves lol.
