I use an antenna and we only watch free TV. Kansas probably won't have many channels. We will just have to go do something else.

Since they switched to high definition TV, I don't even use the "rabbit ears" any more!

I just don't watch television, unless I am visiting someone else.

You moderators really know how to make a thread drift!

Spud, they often have digital rabbit ears at places like Princess Auto for nearly free. I understand that you don't really care to watch much tv (neither do I).

Kato, if you have a current TV, you can use it as a monitor. The one drawback to watching movies on the computer is screen size. I do appreciate a larger screen for movies.

I got a high definition converter box for my TV. I just never use it.

Getting back on subject, watching television will not help you to get your Chinese motorcycle registered in Florida.

I may still get cable (sattelite) again though. I miss The History Channel and my car and motorcycle shows.

As we talked about before there is a LOT of good programming, a person just has to look for it a little.

BTW I think we should use this hijack as an opportunity to set the record for thread drift.

We did the same on an airplane forum I used to be a moderator of and the thread went on for years!

Back to FL registration. It cost $170 to register a bike there? I think it was about $40 all togther in GA.

I think I paid a similar amount for the last two bikes I registered in BC. It's the insurance that's expensive here. I paid roughly $210 per bike with 2 million liability each and no fire, theft, vandalism or collision (for six months coverage).
