Transmission

Just a quick wonder. I have seen a recent mention of a "6 speed Transmission". I am curious. Tried to search but came up with nothing. Does anybody happen to remember what thread it was in or......?

It's for a Honda 250. Then you have a 6th gear

I think there is a mod to get a 6th gear but it may not be very useful from what I recall. Hang in there and wait for one or more of the knowledgeable people to chime in.

I think that was a lower gear that went between two of the lower gears. To do the mod would require pulling the cylinder and splitting the cases and that is not cheap.

I think we were talking about the Suzuki dual range transmission.

The guy that had the Suzuki with the Honda XR engine and I can't find it. He moved from Alaska to Washington or Oregon.
