Look what showed up at work today!

She arrived on a skid, wrapped in plastic, covered in cardboard, and nice and cozy in her cage with not a scratch on her. <3

I stayed late to tear into the assembly a little bit. Ididn't get too much done, but it's on it's way....the battery is on my front porch filled with acid and has a 2A charger on it.

And here's what I walked away from when I left work:

Pretty sure I have to remove the headlight and swap out the bolts holding the ignition cylinder in place, because they're the same size (different length) as the bolts that hold the passenger foot peg brackets. Went to put on the foot pegs and didn't have enough of the longer bolts....shit! Oh, and how the hell do ya get the seat off this thing? LoL

You have to pull off the rear taillight assembly. It's held on by 4 hex screws. Once that is off there are two 10mm nuts screwed onto two long bolts that hold the seat down. I kept them off as the seat stays secure even with the nuts off. Too much a pain anytime you need to take it off IMO.

Huge thank you bud, I wanted to atleast dig into that scenario and grease the electrical connections. Did your front fender bracket fit well? The "standoff bracket" that's just above the fender still has me scratching my head. I have it together, but I think it's wrong because the head of the rear-most bolt is touching the top of the fender.... I HAVE to have it together wrong.

My buddy was the one that assembled that part when we were putting it together. It was just a mess of nuts and bolts lol. Let me see if I can get a pic(might be tomorrow before I can upload), but I will see if I can get a clear shot of the bolts/way it's put on for you. That was one of the trickier parts I know.

Manny, it sounds like you desired whatever you got for all the trouble you have been through.

Congrats!!

I know you are planning to change the color, but when discussing the three colors of the Brozz with Alan Tang, and since Alan has seen all three, he really and truly thought the green was the nicest. I argued that orange is the new black, or the bees knees, or whatever other cliche, but he personally felt the orange was just ok. He was surprised that green was the 'leftover' color. What do you think of the paint?

Also, which shipping company delivered your bike? I am wondering that, in spite of them all being drop-shipped out of Kandi's warehouse, different shipping companies are/were used.

Simon, Alan had mine shipped via "YRC Freight", and I couldn't be happier with the accuracy of their tracking info. I checked in from time to time and saw the truck's progress from coast to coast. They even included when my bike was being transferred from one trailer to another (including each trailer's identification numbers)

As far as the green goes, everyone I talk to really likes it, and one guy that had stopped by our facility who saw me stripping the packing material off the bike actually asked me in a surprised voice: "How in the world did you convince a Kawasaki dealer to ship a new bike direct to you from the factory?!?" LoL

I dunno, I know that I need to break the bike in slow before I put my exhaust on, and I'll have to pull the "passenger side plastics off to do that, so I may just wait until I have a few miles on the clock before I dive into painting it.

Before coming back to the forums, I wrote and sent a quick email to Alan stating that my Bashan had arrive safely and without a scratch, and to thank him for his honest and attentive service quite unlike the other dealers I read complaints about once or twice a week.

I am picking mine up tomorrow night so no pics yet, but it's a 2009 Honda CRF230M which is the super-moto version they made for one year. It's female owned, one owner, and 396 original miles....Stored in her grandpa's heated garage since new, it is new still in every way. Never been riden off road or dropped. Hell it's seriously not even broke in. These came with 17" rims front & rear so I'll probably put a 21" rim on the front and some dirt tires....Not exactly what I wanted but I couldn't pass it up for $2,300.

I was going to post the Craigslist ad but she already deleted it, but here it is...

YRC Freight is who Don was supposed to be shipping my Enforcer through, because they have a dock right in my city...I do know Don uses anyone and everyone, because he told me so and asked who was near me...It all depends where you live and not all the companies go everywhere...or some are a lot more expensive. Like there's a FedEx Freight right by me too but Don said they would be double the price.

Glad to hear YRC did good, if I ever do get one.

YRC freight is good if you have a commercial dock and don't need the liftgate. Home delivery, unfortunately, will be with a different company, Alan confirmed. But, he did have a choice in the matter, so my theory was correct.

Nice bike choice, manny, btw.

Oh, and if you didn't see my post on the MCO issue thread, Alan did thrown your MCO in the crate, so you can theoretically register your bike tomorrow!!
