CRV - Chinabike Recovery Vehicle

This was too good for me to pass up. It belonged to a buddy of mine at Church, and he was going to have it scrapped. It's a 1999 GMC Sierra long box single cab, and it has a 4.8 V8 LS motor in it.

The good:

New windshield
New alternator
New heavy duty auxiliary transmission cooler
New battery

The bad:

The driver's seat has a major chunk of foam missing
It needs brakes all around, and it has four wheel discs. $$$
The rear bumper is a bit folded in
The tailgate has had far too much weight on the right side
It's a single cab; I could use an extended cab

The paint is ok, but it needs considerable cut-polishing. It's pretty straight and rust-free, and it has good rubber on it. I intend to sell the canopy to raise money for brakes.

The canopy is ideal for contractors, since the side window lifts up for easy access to tools, etc. What do you guys think I should ask for the canopy?

The motor cleaned up nicely.

This shot shows how far out of whack the right side tailgate latch is. The subsequent pics show some progress, but it's still far from perfect.

I've got a pretty big to-do list on it, but I'm going to take my time.
